Back zipper, pockets on both sides, hidden in the pleats. This fabric is one-of-a-kind, dyed using shibori-resist techniques to achieve a subtle pattern using cutch, cochineal, and indigo dyes. This dress is what I like to call "dressy casual" -- 100% cotton muslin that can go anywhere and will hold up if you feel like dancing, but will also look sophisticated at the office. The bodice is fitted and graceful, with pleats opening up just below the waist for a flattering silhouette. I recommend dry cleaning, because the lining and the pleats are a bit tricky to iron.
