This is an absolutely incredible Edwardian dress with silver sequins and beads covering the black lace outer layer and creating a firework starburst design on the front. The waist is fitted with an interior hook and eye strap, but the rest is flowing and draping. The bodice has an opening that reveals the black lining. The butterfly sleeves are layered, with one layer of floral black lace, and the top layer the same mesh as the rest of the dress, covered in sparkling bugle beads and sequins. The most unique piece of this dress is the asymmetrical back bottom hem that ends in a squared train. This train is weighted on the end to hold it down, and is layered lace with sequins and beads and beautiful floral lace. There is a black dress that feels like silk attached underneath the beaded silk layer, with the floral lace sleeves. That dress is also fully lined in black silk. The only issue we found is a discoloration under the armpits, as shown in photo. With the layers of fabric and lace, it isn't visible when the garment is on. A spectacular 1910's vintage dress! Fits approximately a size 10. BUST: 42" WAIST: 32" HIPS: 50" LENGTH from shoulder to hem: 48" TRAIN from shortest part of the hem: 26" SLEEVES: 7" SHOULDERS: 19"
