NATURAL LATEX QUILT-TOP MATTRESS For a low profile, medium firmness mattress without metal coils , in its standard version the Natural Latex Quilt-Top Mattress offers buoyant support with its sturdy 10oz. brushed canvas covering. The Natural Latex Quilt-Top Mattress features a medium firmness 6" thick, natural Dunlop latex core surrounded by all natural layers of French wool for surface cushioning and to dissipate body heat to regulate temperature for a comfortable nights sleep. The mattress is two-sided, so it can be flipped over to use the other side, which may increase the life span of the mattress. While this mattress is great on a box spring, it is also commonly used on platform beds, and performs well on adjustable beds as latex inherently flexes and contours with the bending of the adjustable bed base. OPTIONAL UPGRADES TO THE NATURAL LATEX QUILT-TOP MATTRESS TO ACHIEVE MORE SOFTNESS INCLUDE: 1. Additional Layer of Soft Latex: The 6+2 Version adds an extra 2" of soft Dunlop latex on one sleep surface side of the mattress, so you can have one side softer, and one side regular. For more overall mattress thickness, and a softer feel on one side, we offer the natural Dunlop latex core combined with an extra 2" of soft natural Dunlop Latex, resulting in a softer feel on one side, and regular medium feel on the other side. Mattress goes from 7"-7.5" thick to 9" -9.5" thick in the standard version. Or, if ordering with the stretch knit fabric the mattress thickness goes from 6"- 6.5" to 8"- 8.5" ( our most popular version) 2. Ergonomic 7-Zone Latex Core Technology: The natural 7-Zone Talalay latex core can be substituted in place of the natural Dunlop latex core, resulting in a 1" thicker mattress. Rather than building the mattress with the 6" Dunlop latex core, we can make it with our ergonomically designed, natural 7-Zone Talalay Latex Core from the Netherlands, which provides slightly softer shoulder and hip areas, while maintaining buoyant support for the lower back with the firmer lumbar zone. Symmetrically designed, so you always have the zones, regardless of rotating from head to foot or side to side. Mattress thickness becomes 8"-8.5" thick with the 7-Zone latex core option in the standard version, or 7"-7.5" thick
