The King Tut Experience was great. I learned a lot both from the exhibit and from the film. The other exhibits near the theater were also interesting. Full review by JeromeB101

We enjoyed the King Tut exhibit. We learned a lot, and the immersive experience was unique. Great use of technology to bring the history and ancient religious beliefs to life. Full review by Emily4023

Q:
Is there a security check or metal detectors? Need to know because i dont go into the city without protection for my family. I know the Smithsonian museums have them I've never been to this place
A:
No there were no metal detectors. I don't know what their policy is regarding entry with firearms.
Q:
How many hours would you say were needed to see this exhibit fully?
A:
We watched the movie and then went through both exhibits, so we were there between 2 and 3 hours
Q:
Eateries nearby? Just looking for something within a short walking distance to grab a quick lunch.
A:
Up on P Street is Logan Tavern and several other good places. A bit further than those recommended by others but worth a walk if in the area.
